Travel & Transportation

Montreal and the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal are easily accessible in a number of ways:

By Plane

Fly into Montreal’s Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau airport. From there, find the 747 bus which you can take until Rene Levesque and Peel – it’s about a 10 minute walk up Peel until Sherbrooke to get to the hotel. The 747 bus ticket is $10 – coins only (no change given). The ticket is good for 24 hours. Alternatively, a 3 day pass is $18 and includes use on the bus/subway system in the entire city.

Taxis are usually about $40 flat rate. Uber is slowly being phased out in Montreal but can usually be requested on the departures level.

By Train

Via has two stations in the Montreal area – it’s best to book a ticket to Montreal’s central station at 895 de la Gauchetiere West (a 10 minute walk up Mansfield to Sherbrooke).

By Car

Detailed directions by car can be found on the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal website.

Hotel parking is $29/day; lower rates may be available in nearby public lots.
