The CAGC Scientific Planning Committee (SPC) is actively inviting proposals for poster and/or oral presentations for the in-person 2026 Annual Education Conference in Halifax, NS.

We are looking for stimulating and informative presentations in all areas of interest to genetic counsellors!

​IINFORMATION NEEDED TO SUBMIT

  • Presenting Author information

  • Abstract Title (with proper capitalization) e.g. This is my Abstract Title

  • Abstract: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion (Character Limit: 2,500)

  • List of Authors (names and organizations)

POSTER PRESENTER INFORMATION

​

NOTES ABOUT YOUR POSTER

  • Your poster should be 3' 5" (w) by 4' (h).

  • Velcro/push pins will be provided onsite.

  • Posters will be displayed in the Exhibits Hall

  • Poster Presentations: Wednesday, October 14, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

POSTER SET UP & TEAR DOWN

  • Poster set up time: Wednesday, October 14 before 12:00pm.

*Ensure your poster is set up by 9:00am for max exposure.

  • Poster tear down time: Thursday, October 17 before 4:30pm (Exhibit Hall close). Please note any posters not taken down in time will be disposed of.
